Average CEO pay tops $10 million for first time
Median CEO pay now tops $10 million, the first time the figure has reached eight digits. With their wages rising 50 percent in the last four years, CEO’s made 257 times the average worker’s pay in 2013. While wages for top business executives continue rising, middle class job growth and pay still struggle. Most new jobs are on the lowest end of the wage spectrum. RT’s Lindsay France takes a deeper look at the figures and the widening income gap.

Lindsay, how long will it continue unabated? It is time for workers who are on the firing line to rise up, the tame shareholders to put a cap on these pay packages and by the governments to tax these individuals so heavy that it brings some forced equity in the distribution of wealth. I can tell you some of these CEOs will be lucky to find jobs outside if they were to leave. Enough is enough BUT what is enough? One day, “detestation of high will be the involuntary homage of the low”
