Christie’s Art Sale Smashes Records for 12 Artists, Including Jackson Pollock

Records were smashed for Jean-Michel Basquiat, Jackson Pollock, Roy Lichtenstein and auctions themselves as Christie’s sold $495 million of contemporary art last night in New York.
As I have said, the Fed is making the rich richer, and the poor…well, they’re still poor.
The people who spend this type of money on paintings should be locked up in jail. Go give it to those who are starving in other parts of the world, or go build some jobs for those without jobs.
