replyI am not too sure if anyone caught that, but CRAP! They seized $180 billion in assets from Bernie and $80 million from his wife - are you f-ing serious? how the heck does someone get to owning that much in assets without anyone second guessing?

Don't forget the 2.5 million she gets to keep - That woman will be in hiding forever. and lawyers say a sentence of 12 years is humane? wtf? what about the years of saving some of his clients have just lost? some over 50 years of hard honest work gone?

I'll tell you what is crazy is the SEC not doing more about this. And SIPC seriously should be able to compensate many investors, even if its not all of their money. $180 billion in assets plus another 80 million should at the very least cover some of the lost money. we're talking a quarter of the us bailout money.

Yeah he got what he deserved. A little surprised he got the max. I still think its more important for people to get their money back
